This is our annual opportunity to thank all our supporters and wellwishers. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. We are most grateful to Anderson Strathern for offering to host the event.
It will be a good, relaxed occasion for you to meet and network with other business matters friends.
We will give news about our third year of service and look ahead to the next. We will also hear briefly from some people who have appreciated our service over the past year.
Our Chairman of Trustees, Colin Stewart of Citigroup, together with the other Trustees look forward to welcoming you, as do the Staff Team of Iain Archibald, Eric Smith, Janice Todd and Wilma Craig.
As you leave the event, business matters' written report on the past financial year will be available.

Know anyone who is or will be between jobs in or near Edinburgh? Then do tell them about this.
The staff and Trustees of business matters, together with well-wishers throughout the business and offices community in our city, want to be of service to people facing redundancy or who are between jobs.
Of course, in many cases people will be receiving assistance from their previous employers and private sector and government agencies, like Penna, Jobshop and Jobcentre Plus. Our intention is to supplement the good help of all those. From week to week we will bring in skilled partners to speak about:
- Making the most of the transition time
- Discovering your passions and skills
- CV writing
- Networking
- Preparing for an interview
- Putting your skills to work pro tem in the voluntary sector
- Portfolio working
- Starting your own business
