Business Alpha taster events prior to autumn course
Ever thought of doing the famous Alpha course, but in a business context? Business Alpha gets underway with two taster talks, so you can dip your toe in the water without any obligation on one or both of these occasions. High-profile speakers have agreed to take the mike. The topic each time is: "Christianity: Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant?"
Taster one: lunchtime Thursday 6 September in the Roxburghe, 12.45 to 1.50.
Speaker will be Ewan Aitken, until recently Leader of Edinburgh City Council. Heads up the Labour group on the Council.
Speaker is Dr Luis Palau, one of the most effective and compelling spiritual communicators in the world. He has spoken to more than 1 billion people through radio, television, print, the Internet and festivals. He has spoken in person before live audiences to more than 25 million people in over 40 countries. If you are unfamiliar with his name, it is probably because he is Argentinian. It is a rare treat to have him in Scotland. An opportunity not to be missed! Very informal after-work event. Wine and canapés will be served.
