Date: Thursday 13 March
Venue: The Lounge of Charlotte Chapel, Rose Street (very close to Charlotte Square)
Timing: 5.30 for 6pm, ending by 6.45pm
Tom Ingrey-Counter has an outstanding ability to show you a reproduction of a famous painting and comment on it. Your understanding of the painting and enjoyment of it soars! Says Iain Archibald of business matters: "In my opinion, Tom's gift of helping you read and appreciate a painting is on a par with Neil MacGregor's of TV fame, Director of the British Museum and now also our UK Ambassador for Culture."
Tom will show us some paintings, notably the iconic Salvador Dali: Christ of St John of the Cross and Holman Hunt's Light of the World. Tom will open our eyes to what the artists wished to convey. An excellent opportunity to relax after work and also to prepare for Easter.
