Please take this as our warm, open invitation to come along to our events. We personally will value your coming and, more significantly, many others will benefit from your presence and participation - and of course you will benefit from theirs. You can support business matters further by bringing colleagues, friends and contacts. All will receive a warm welcome.
Together, we will further build up the growing network that is business matters and, in our pressured jobs, foster a sense of community among us all - across private sector and public sector, SMEs and corporates. We will build bridges and enrich each other; we will "translate" for each other as we compare notes from across our broad band of experience; we will benefit each other; and we will help humanise the workplace in our city.
As we all carve out time to make it along to our various events, we will all reap the benefit: we will make new contacts, develop new friendships and receive a lot of valuable advice and encouragement, and hopefully pass ours on to others too. Together we will provide an antidote to stress, anonymity and being all too target-driven and assessed. We will foster a sense of warm community in our world of work, a sense of belonging, a sense that our work has meaning and purpose above earning a living.
