Hello.
As we approach advent it is a time to reflect upon the year that has passed. For many, it continues to be a difficult period in our lives. We continue to be impacted greatly by the Coronavirus pandemic – with yet more new strains coming onto our shores. During the first half of the year, business matters aimed to support people prepare for life after Covid through a series of online interviews with various guests from across the business community. A summary of the themes and topics discussed can be found on the business matters’ website.
Our theme for the second half of the year has been climate change with a particular focus on the lead up to the COP26 event held recently in Glasgow. We have been active on social media and co-hosted an online interview with OASIS Edinburgh. If you missed this, you can view a recording via the following link on YouTube: https://youtu.be/Iy1saVeCAxs
We have one final climate-themed event in the pipeline for December when a panel of experts will review COP26 and consider what happens now. This is scheduled for 1pm on Friday 17 December. Below are the dial-in details. We do hope that you will be able to join us.
